Terms of Service

Effective date: August 3, 2026

In plain language

Turbocoder is an AI tool that generates and deploys code for you based on a description you provide. We're currently in beta. AI-generated code can contain bugs, security issues, or mistakes — you're responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. Don't use Turbocoder to generate anything illegal or harmful. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service. This isn't legal advice — it's a summary to help you understand the sections below, which are the actual binding terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Turbocoder (the "Service"), operated by Turbocoder Inc. ("Turbocoder," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Turbocoder accepts a product requirements description ("PRD") from you and uses AI models — including third-party AI providers accessed through our AI gateway, and Codemind, our code-generation partner — to generate application source code and, where available, deploy it. The Service is currently offered as a beta product. Features, generation limits, and reliability may change without notice, and the Service may be unavailable, incomplete, or contain defects.

AI-generated output is not guaranteed to be correct, secure, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any code generated through the Service before using it, deploying it, or relying on it in any production, commercial, or safety-relevant context.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using GitHub or Google OAuth sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Usage Limits

The Service applies rate limits to AI-generation requests (currently a daily cap per account) to manage cost and prevent abuse. Limits may change at any time. Attempting to circumvent usage limits — including through multiple accounts, automated request patterns designed to evade limits, or shared credentials — is a violation of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate code intended for illegal activity, malware, or to attack, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to any system;
  • Generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service's underlying infrastructure, rate limits, or security controls;
  • Submit PRDs or other input containing another person's confidential information without authorization;
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, with or without notice, at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

As between you and Turbocoder, you retain ownership of the PRD and other input you submit, and of the code generated for your projects, subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable third-party licenses in generated dependencies. You grant Turbocoder a limited license to process your input and generated output solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service. Turbocoder retains all rights in the Service itself, including its underlying software, branding, and infrastructure.

Because generated code is produced by AI models, we make no representation that generated output is free of third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for verifying licensing and originality before commercial use.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers — including AI model providers accessed through our AI gateway, Codemind for code generation, GitHub and Google for authentication, and Cloudflare for hosting and data storage. Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms of those providers where relevant (for example, GitHub's and Google's terms govern your OAuth sign-in). We are not responsible for outages or issues originating from third-party providers.

8. Payment

Turbocoder does not currently process payments. If and when paid tiers are introduced, these Terms will be updated to include applicable billing, refund, and cancellation terms before any charges are introduced.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, non-payment (once applicable), or extended inactivity, with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 10, and 11) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT GENERATED CODE WILL BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON, THE SERVICE AND ANY OUTPUT IT PRODUCES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURBOCODER AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY GENERATED OUTPUT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where practicable, provide notice through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
